Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using the Sentigen platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@sentigen.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Multi-user workspaces allow you to invite team members. You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your workspace comply with these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing, fraud, or deception.
• Harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Use the AI drafting and document features to produce content that violates the acceptable-use policies of our underlying AI providers (Anthropic, Google).
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any system.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle (monthly or annual). All fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

Plan pricing is listed on our Pricing page. We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace settings. You will retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

Free tier

The free tier is provided “as-is” with no uptime guarantees. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

5. AI-Generated Content

Sentigen uses artificial intelligence to assist with drafting emails, documents, briefings, and other content on your behalf. Important:

• AI-generated drafts are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before sending or publishing it.
• AI models can make errors, produce inaccurate information, or generate content that is inappropriate for a particular context. Do not rely on AI output without human review for high-stakes communications, legal documents, or medical and financial advice.
• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Data Ownership

You own your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the content you upload, connect via integrations, or generate using the Service. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Upon account deletion, your data enters a 30-day grace period after which it is permanently purged from our systems and those of our sub-processors. You may export your data at any time via workspace settings before deletion.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google (Gmail, Calendar, Meet), Microsoft (Outlook, Teams), Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and others via OAuth and API authorization. By connecting these integrations you authorize Sentigen to access the specific scopes you approve. You may revoke access at any time via your workspace settings or through the third-party provider’s own settings.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service.

8. Intellectual Property

Sentigen and its licensors retain all rights to the Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by deleting your workspace. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5 (AI-Generated Content), 6 (Data Ownership), 10 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL [BRAINTIED — LEGAL ENTITY NAME PENDING], ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100).

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of [Jurisdiction]. You waive any objection to personal jurisdiction or venue in such courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
